Company visit to SIC Kft. at Pásztó

SIC Kft. being one of the founding members of BELGABIZ and one of the earliest Belgian investments in Hungary, we were eager to pay a visit to their factory at Pásztó, at the feet of the Mátra hills. In a full day excursion, we first enjoyed the hospitality of Michel Alliance and his colleagues and could peek into the factory’s operations.
Following the visit, we headed to Hollókő, a nearby folkloric village (part of the UNESCO World Heritage), where we had a delicious Hungarian lunch. Our host was the lovely Piroska néni, who told us about the traditional lifestyle of the local “palóc” people and showed us the traditional clothing.
